house.

Kitchen sink, shower drain, 

toilet.

Holding tank, septic field, 

faucet.

2. Stanza

It is difficult to design 

a spare room

for the unknown 

guest.

3. Screen Play

The hypergraphia 

of the shower.

Door, walls,

and floor covered

with asemic script.

recumbent on chaises.

Reading, dozing, dreaming,

until the sun goes down. 

Proust and some of his translators 

have fallen asleep beside us.

No one has finished the book.
