Oracles

Those eyes will pile up like
a sack of lost and found golf balls
numbers clacking into billiard pockets
marbles you kept in jelly jars
 
Those eyes will form a centerpiece
surrounded with heart shaped rocks
rocks with circular white lines
a collection of bright scissors
 
Those eyes and their many pupils
form the basis for intimate studies
household, family, sewing machine
studio, burnt out lightbulbs, darkness
